I came across a fun little distraction called Typealyzer a couple week ago. What you do is enter your blog url, and it analyzes your personality type based on your posts.

Typealyzer classifies me as an INTJ – The Scientists

“The long-range thinking and individualistic type. They are especially good at looking at almost anything and figuring out a way of improving it–often with a highly creative and imaginative touch. They are intellectually curious and daring, but might be physically hesitant to try new things.

“The Scientists enjoy theoretical work that allows them to use their strong mind and bold creativity. Since they tend to be so abtract and theoretical in their communication, they often have a problem communicating their visions to other people and need to learn patience and use concrete examples (me: so true!). Since they are extremely good at concentrating, they often have no trouble working alone (me: again, so true!).”

I thought mine was eerily dead-on. I’d love to know your personality type! If you have a blog, do yours and post your personality type and description in the comments section of this post.

My Meyers Brigg said I was INTJ too! I even did a blog post about it. It will be fun to see if this application says the same thing. One of the personality traits that I agree with the most about INTJ’s is that: INTJs know what they know, and perhaps still more importantly, they know what they don’t know.

Oh, how funny! Kindred brains, LOL.

Interestly enough, my Meyers Briggs (depending on the day I guess) alternately puts me in eNFj (the teacher idealist; Rational – Idealist – Artisan – Guardian) and eNTj (the fieldmarshall rational).

Yes, I do agree that it can depend on the day for me too. The typalyzer dubbed me ISTJ.. close enough. :)

How odd — my Myers Briggs type is INFP — but my blog is ISTJ — then again, my blog is my VA blog and I think being a VA brings out the more “business-like” siade of my personality.

My score is INTJ, as well. I’ll have to do it another day and see if it comes up different.

It was right on! I’m an ISTP – independent and problem-solving – the top two words that I use to describe myself :-)
